In August 1976, Virginia Young LaRocca died from a stroke in Studio City, California, and was cremated, with her ashes scattered at sea, similar to her granddaughter Paige’s two years prior. Following Paige’s suicide in 1974, Virginia and her daughter Donna Holroyd, who died in 1980, shared a home in Sherman Oaks.
